What you need to know about GDAs
Here at Capri-Sun, we understand it can be hard for you to make the right choices about healthy eating. So, in order to make it easier for you, we have put the Guideline Daily Amounts (GDAs) on the front of our packs in an easy-to-read format.
What exactly is a GDA?
GDAs show you the recommended daily levels of different nutrients to maintain good health. Put really simply, these are guidelines on how much of each of five important dietary constituents – calories, sugar, fat, saturated fat and salt – that we may consume per day for a healthy lifestyle. Now all you have to do is check the label, which we hope will make it easier to follow a healthy diet.
